The fragrance oils are selected based on the following criteria:
- For the quality of the aroma produced by the fragrance - does it denote a pleasant or sweet smell which resembles what it represents.
- If the fragrance endures for the required length of time after application.
- When tested with the inks we use, to make sure the fragrance does not adversely affect print quality.
- Some fragrances are also more liable to stain the actual board with colour. We aim to select only the scents which minimise this discolouration.
